Pissed Off...

Today I am just pissed of at america, american legislations, and american laws aw! and also obnoxious employees that don't know what are they talking about!!!
Don't ask why!!!

The Date...

Tonight for the first time in a while... since july or august 2010 we went out on a Date!!!

Since Aj is born my husband and me always took aj with us whereever we went... but tonight since we are at grandma's house and aj went to sleep early we went out on a date... we went to the movies and than we stopped to get some FRESH doghnuts... DELICIOUS!!!!

We watched The Adjustment Bureau with Matt Damon and we enjoyed so much!!!!!!!!!!

the movie is so great and with such an unexpected ending... which i'm not going to reveal for who of you that didn't see the movie yet but wants to.

Anyway... we went to the movies and got some popcorns and crunched 'em up during the whole movie.... really like a couple on a first date!!!

Thank you hubby for the great evening ... we had fun!

And abole all... Aj at home was peacefully sleeping... when i got back home and checked on her i kissed her and she sights as to say: "finally you're back home, now i can rest better!!!" than around 2 am she woke up again and hugged me!!! Such a sweety pie...

Dear Readers,
Welcome to my english blog...
I started my blog few months ago but lately i feel the need to start writing in english and not only in italian because that way half of my family and friends were cut off of my blog...

hopefully i will find new friends this way... internet is amazing for some things...

Anyway let me introduce my-self and my family...

I'm a 30 years old mum and wife!!!
I'm Italian and i have a PhD in European and Comparative Politics, a carrier.... that i put on the side once i had my baby Annajoyce (10 months now) because taking care of her and my husband was more important so... I'm a wife, and a mum by choice, i could have put my daughter in a day care and follow up on my carrer but on the other hand someone else would have been there for her first smiles, her first words and her first steps... and as time is teaching me... that's so amazing and fascinating to see how your baby grows that i coudn't give it up!!!
and everyday... no matter how hard it is and how tough it gets... I'm happy to be there for all of Aj's milestones... i try to videotape as much as i can but sometimes she does things once and doesn't want to do them again... so i'm glad that i'm there to see them!!!

We live in Columbus, Ohio because my husband is a PhD student himself at the Ohio State University and until he finishes we are stuck here in the cold weather and that sucks not only because of the weather but also because we are far away from both sides of the family... my side which is in Italy and his side which is in North Carolina, hopefully he will finish soon the PhD and we'll move closed to either one!!!

A Bow for Maddie

Yesterday evening I came across this blog and I found out what I wish never happened to this young couple. They lost their baby girl at only 4 months of age... she, Madison, stopped breathing for no reason 2 days after she became only 4 months old...

Her mommy, 27 years-old must be devasted, it's impossible to think about what she is going trough, yet she is such a strong woman... she keeps talking about her Maddie and she keeps posting about everything that is going on right now with her life.... i hope that helps her to find peace in her hearth.

I'm writing this post because she asked everybody to wear bows for Maddie today... so even if Annajoyce hates them we tried to put on the best one she has and to take a picture to send to Maddie's mommy so she can feel all the love coming her way from all-over the world.


We were actually able to take few nice pictures.

Rest in peace Maddie in babies' heaven, and you mommy and daddy may find peace on hearth while Maddie will be watching over you.
